Law of Conservation: Magic cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed.

Law of Source: All magic flows from the three Ventari - Order, Chaos, and Neutrality.

Law of Death: When a magical being dies, their magic returns to the source that created them.

Types of Magic

Order Magic

Source: Telaria (Ventari of Order)

Nature: Structured, predictable, rule-based

Used by: Lumina and her creations

Limitation: When life created with Order magic dies, it releases chaos magic back into the dimension

Chaos Magic

Source: Darek (Ventari of Chaos) / Death of ordered creations

Nature: Unpredictable, transformative, destructive

Used by: Diaglo (discovered through death)

Power: Feeds on entropy and change

Balanced Magic

Source: Claricent (Ventari of Neutrality)

Nature: Equilibrium between Order and Chaos

Used by: Lyra and the Guardians

Purpose: Maintains stability and prevents total dominance of either force

Power Hierarchy

Tier 1: Ventari Magic

Pre-dimensional forces. Can create and destroy entire dimensions. Not bound by dimensional laws.

Tier 2: Creator Magic

Dimensional creation power granted by Ventari. Renaldo's ability to shape Apocalyptica.

Tier 3: Divine Magic

Gods within the dimension (Lumina, Diaglo, Lyra). Can create life, shape reality within their domain.

Tier 4: Guardian Magic

Enforcement and examination power. Can judge gods and mortals. Cannot create new life.

Tier 5: Mortal Magic

Derived from gods or ambient magic. Limited scope and power. Can be enhanced or restricted by higher tiers.

Rules of Engagement

1. Consent & Free Will

No god can force another being to act against their will without consequence. This is Renaldo's fundamental design principle.

2. Domain Limitation

Gods and guardians are limited to their specific domains. Crossing domain boundaries requires permission or justification.

3. The Examination Right

Guardians (especially Sapphrine) can examine any being or magic to determine worthiness and adherence to dimensional laws.

4. The Judgment Clause

Telaria will return in 30 Ventari Years to judge whether free choice creates order or chaos. This judgment is absolute.

5. Death Consequence

When ordered magic dies, it releases chaos. This is unavoidable and creates the eternal struggle between Lumina and Diaglo.

Forbidden Practices

Dimension Breaching

Attempting to leave Apocalyptica or bring in power from other dimensions. Punishable by examination and potential erasure.

Forced Soul Binding

Binding another's soul without consent. Violation of free will principle. Guardians will intervene.

Reality Rewriting

Attempting to fundamentally alter the laws Renaldo established. Only Ventari or Renaldo can change core dimensional laws.
