The Ambition That Knows No End
Some beings seek power to protect. Some seek it to destroy. Issac WaveLander seeks power for its own sake—an endless hunger that will not be satisfied until he controls everything. Even if "everything" includes the Keepers themselves.
"There is no end to his desire for control. He would love to find a way to ascend to be a Keeper—to dominate them also. Even if that control only extends to the order failing."

Life Ambitions
The Ultimate Goal: Complete Domination
Issac WaveLander is the Leader of the Obsidian Cabal. His ultimate goal is complete domination—whether directly or indirectly doesn't matter. Control is control, whether you sit on the throne or pull the strings from shadows.
Like his minions who are loyal to him and rule everything below him, Issac operates through layers of command. But his ambition extends beyond mortal realms, beyond gods, beyond even the cosmic order.
He would love to ascend to become a Keeper—just so he could dominate them too.
There is no ceiling to his hunger. No achievement that satisfies him. Even if his control only extends to ensuring order fails, that would be victory enough. Because failure imposed by his will is still domination.
The WaveLander Lineage
Issac's name is spelled with two "s" letters, and the "L" in WaveLander is capitalized. This is not error—it is distinction. He is not merely a WaveLander. He is THE WaveLander who will surpass all who came before.
⚡ Grandfather: Xanther WaveLander
The first WaveLander, created by Lumina from the DNA of an Elder Dragon. Xanther embodies Neutrality—power without allegiance, strength without judgment.
After the War of Nexus and the gods' "deaths," Xanther went on a rampage, killing anything and everything without reserve to absorb their magic. He became a force of pure consumption, a walking cataclysm.
Issac's relationship with Xanther: Hatred. Fear. Envy. His father despises Xanther, and that hatred is woven into the Contract of Existence that binds Issac.
✨ Grandmother: Relana WaveLand
An Agent of the Keepers. Relana operates on a cosmic scale that transcends mortal conflicts. She is why the Obsidian Cabal—despite their ambitions—will NOT engage her under any circumstances.
The nature of her relationship with Issac remains mysterious. Does she watch him with disappointment? Pride? Indifference? Or is she waiting to see if he will ascend or self-destruct?
💀 Father: [Name Unknown]
After the War of Nexus, Issac's father was sent to the newest Realm to create Valdos (God of Space) and Chronos (God of Time).
When he died in the process, his final thoughts were the protection and safety of his son. Those thoughts became the Contract of Existence—magic bound to Issac with one devastating condition.
The Contract of Existence
⚖️ Bound Power with a Terrible Price
When Issac's father died creating Valdos and Chronos, his soul's magic became bound to Issac through a Contract of Existence. This contract gives Issac access to his father's immense power—the magic of creation, time, and space.
But there is a condition: Issac can ONLY use his father's magic when he fights Xanther.
His father despised Xanther so profoundly that even in death, that hatred shaped the contract. The magic activates only in the presence of the one his father loathed most.
This creates a terrible irony: Issac has access to god-level power, but only when facing the one being he might not want to confront.
Issac's Role in the Kiss of Death Series
In the "Kiss of Death" series (Books 21-25 of the War of the Gods), Issac will have a huge hand in taking Xanther's ability to use Chaos magic away.
This is not revenge. This is not justice. This is Issac asserting dominance over the one being who represents everything he envies and fears. If he can strip Xanther of his power, he proves that even legends can be controlled.
And if he can control Xanther? Then nothing is beyond his reach.
The Philosophy of Control
Issac does not merely want power. He wants the assurance that nothing can exist outside his influence. He wants to know that every variable is accounted for, every threat neutralized, every potential challenger already defeated before they realize they're in a game.
This is why he leads the Obsidian Cabal—an organization that serves chaos through perfect order. They are the manifestation of his philosophy: that true control comes not from preventing chaos, but from orchestrating it.
The Cabal's paradoxical discipline is Issac's signature. Chaos that follows rules is chaos he can predict. Chaos he can predict is chaos he can control.
"If I cannot rule the Keepers by joining them, then I will rule them by ensuring their order collapses. If I cannot control the gods, then I will control the void they leave behind. If I cannot dominate existence, then I will dominate the nothing that remains when existence fails."

The Central Question
Can ambition without limits ever be satisfied? Or does it consume everything—including the one who wields it?
Issac WaveLander is not a villain who wants to destroy the world. He is a villain who wants to own it so completely that even its destruction would require his permission.
And that might be more terrifying than any apocalypse.
