The Bucklah is a massive shallow dish made of cold, black onyx that appears translucent under certain light. It hovers above a white marble platform, floating exactly one foot in the air. The platform itself is square with three steps leading up one side.

The dish is as wide as it is long, with rounded corners and sides. Within it swirls the waters of the AetherFlow—an endless source of creative potential. A myriad of lights flows within these waters constantly, shifting colors and patterns like captured starlight.

Fog percolates from inside the dish and flows down its sides in an eternal cascade, yet the fog never reaches the marble platform below. It simply dissipates into mist before touching the ground.

Origin - Gift of Valdos

Valdos - The master craftsman who forged the Bucklah

The Purpose: To allow Lilith (Death) and Albis (Life) to work together in creation. Alone, Albis could only create simple things like flowers. Alone, Lilith could only take life. But together, using the Bucklah, they could create complex beings—dragons, gods, guardians of realms.

The 8th Realm: The Bucklah was specifically designed for creating the pantheon of gods that would govern the 8th Realm and beyond.

The AetherFlow Waters

The Bucklah does not contain ordinary water. It is filled with AetherFlow—the primordial essence from which all magic and life flows.

Source of All Potential: The AetherFlow contains every possibility, every genetic combination, every trait that could ever exist
Responsive to Will: The waters react to the intentions and visions of those who touch them
Requires Balance: Death (Lilith) and Life (Albis) must touch the waters simultaneously for creation to occur
Memory of Time: The waters contain the past, present, and future all flowing together
Energy Conservation: As Albis teaches: "Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Only converted to other things."

How The Bucklah Works

The Creation Process:

STEP 1: Approach Together

Both Lilith and Albis must approach the Bucklah simultaneously. The dish senses their presence and rises to waist height automatically.

STEP 2: Shared Vision

They must imagine what they want to create. The vision must be clear in both their minds. Albis usually stands behind Lilith, wrapping his arms around her, creating physical and mental unity.

STEP 3: Touch the Waters

They link their fingers together and plunge their hands into the AetherFlow waters simultaneously. The moment of contact brings euphoria—they feel each other as extensions of their own flesh. Their thoughts merge. The power is immense and nearly overwhelming.

STEP 4: Mold the Magic

Together, as one being, they fold and mold the magic within the waters. They work in perfect synchronization, guided by their shared vision. Albis's thoughts become Lilith's. They breathe as one.

STEP 5: The Breath

When the form is complete, they close their hands around it and pull their hands out of the waters. Albis raises Lilith's hands to her lips. Together, they take a deep breath and blow the magic toward the other side of the dish.

STEP 6: The First Touch

The creation appears on the far side of the dish, lifeless. Only Albis can give it the first touch. He kneels before it and speaks: "I give you life." Then he kisses it. Life begins.

Critical: Lilith cannot touch the creation or it will die instantly. Only after she bears Solaris and Gaia does she gain the ability to touch without killing.

The Experience of Creation

Using the Bucklah is not merely a technical process—it is intensely intimate. When Lilith and Albis touch the waters together:

Complete Unity: They become one consciousness, one heartbeat, one breath
Overwhelming Euphoria: The sensation is described as almost too much to bear
Shared Thoughts: His thoughts are hers, hers are his
Physical Ecstasy: Creation through the Bucklah is deeply sensual and pleasurable
Requires Trust: They must surrender control and merge completely

Children Created via Bucklah

Over 2,500 years, Lilith and Albis used the Bucklah to create many beings:

Dagur: Their first son, an adult dragon, created fully formed
Zeneph: The Indigo Giant, Guardian of Zeneire (Realm 5)
Korriel: The Jade Dragon, Guardian of the Wasteland (Realm 12)
Countless Others: Dragons, lesser gods, guardians, and divine beings

Important Distinction: These children are NOT genetically related. They do not share DNA in any traditional sense. Each was crafted intentionally, combining specific traits and powers chosen by Lilith and Albis. This is why "brothers" and "sisters" created via Bucklah have no genetic connection.

Grown inside Lilith's body. Share true genetics. Lilith CAN touch them. Examples: Solaris & Gaia (the only two)

⚠ THE BALANCE RULE ⚠

If Lilith takes away the life Albis gives to something, Albis cannot just create the same thing over again.

Once Lilith's death touch destroys a Bucklah creation, it is gone forever. This is why she will not act without trying to reason with Albis first.

Creation requires both. Destruction is final.

The Bucklah's True Nature

The Bucklah is not merely a tool. It is a fundamental expression of reality itself:

Balance Incarnate: It requires both Death and Life to function
Conservation of Energy: Nothing is truly created—only transformed from potential to reality
Limitation Through Power: The more powerful the creation, the more control required
Learning Through Failure: Their first attempt created a tiny lizard instead of a dragon. It burned to ash when Lilith tried to give it life.
Mastery Takes Time: It took 2,500 years of practice to create beings as complex as dragons and gods

Where The Bucklah Resides

The Bucklah floats above its white marble platform in multiple locations throughout the realms. When Lilith and Albis created the gods for the 8th Realm, the Bucklah resided there.

Later, copies or aspects of the Bucklah appear in other realms:

Zeneire (Realm 5): Zeneph has a Bucklah fragment, though he doesn't understand how to use it properly
The Wasteland (Realm 12): Korriel has a corrupted Bucklah fragment that leaks poison

The Bucklah fragments are pieces of the original vessel's power, scattered across realms so that gods could attempt creation—though without the balance of Death and Life working together, the results are often catastrophic.
