Who is Apocalyptica?
Apocalyptica is not merely a creature, not simply a goddess, not even a force of nature. She is the embodiment of inevitable destruction. She is the end that waits for all things, patient and eternal.

Where other deities require worship, Apocalyptica requires only time. Where other powers can be bargained with, reasoned with, even defeated—Apocalyptica simply is. She exists beyond mortality, beyond divinity, beyond comprehension.
Those who have glimpsed her true form speak of endless eyes that witness all endings, of mouths that speak in the language of entropy, of hands that unmake reality itself. But these are metaphors, pale shadows of a truth too vast for mortal or immortal minds to contain.
She does not hunger. She does not rage. She does not even hate.
She simply waits.
The Taint of Apocalyptica
Her magic permeates certain creatures throughout the dimensions. These beings, touched by Apocalyptica's essence, carry within them the seed of ultimate destruction. They are her unwitting agents, her scattered fragments, her heralds.

When Renaldo created life in his dimension, some creations were "tainted by the magic of Apocalyptica." These beings possess abilities that should not exist, powers that defy the natural order established by Lumina, Lyra, and Diaglo.
They are aberrations. Beautiful terrors. Living contradictions that prove the gods themselves do not hold absolute dominion over existence.

Can She Be Stopped?
No.
Apocalyptica cannot be destroyed because she is not alive in any conventional sense. She cannot be banished because she exists in all places simultaneously. She cannot be reasoned with because reason itself will one day end, and she will remain.

If there is any defense against Apocalyptica, it is not in fighting her, but in delaying her. In building, creating, loving, struggling—in choosing existence over entropy for as long as possible.
