These three ancient forces existed before dimensions themselves. They are the foundation upon which all reality is built.
Telaria
Ventari Queen of Order
The primal force of Order. She created Apocalyptica at Renaldo's request and set the 30-year judgment timer. She believes free choice is the downfall of order, but agreed to let Renaldo test his theory.
Aldorian
Ventari God of Neutrality
The primal force of Balance. He created Diaglo and gave fragments of his own soul to create Lyra. His bloodline flows through those who maintain equilibrium. Aldorian's essence allows beings to resist corruption and wield neutral magic.
Apocalyptica
Ventari Goddess of Eldritch Chaos
A being born from Eldritch horror magic itself. She exists in the forgotten places, in the shifting sands and lost cities. Her power is older than the dimension, and her grandchild is Diaglo. She offers assistance to those who seek to reshape reality.
Renaldo
Creator of Apocalyptica
The one who dared to ask Telaria for a dimension of his own. He designed Apocalyptica to test the theory of free choice versus imposed order. He created Nexus, crafted the three dimensional gods, and secretly protected those who refused to surrender their emotions. His sapphire eyes glow with excitement for his grand experiment.
The first human of THIS dimension and those who followed, beings more powerful than the dimensional gods, tasked with maintaining balance and examining the worthiness of gods and mortals alike.
Clandareth
The First Human - Guardian King
Renaldo teleported him to a random planet in the outermost region of the dimension. Not the center. Not a grand city. Just a planet. Alone. He became the Guardian King who created the guardians, who accidentally unleashed daemons, whose corruption by Eldritch magic forced his wife to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Sapphrine
Guardian Queen - Examiner of Worth
Wife of Clandareth, mother of Darth. Created to examine gods, mortals, and magic itself. She determines who is worthy of power and who must be judged. She sacrificed her ability to feel love to save her people, created the Grand Keeper's Staff, and forced her entire kingdom to surrender their emotions. Her eyes turned to ashy stardust grey.
The Eleven Who Refused
Guardians of Free Will
Led by Albis, these eleven guardians refused to sacrifice their emotions to Sapphrine's Grand Keeper's Staff. She stripped them of their titles and powers, casting them out as mortals. But Renaldo secretly restored their powers and sent them away. Lyra offered them sanctuary in Nexus.
Created by Renaldo to govern the central realm—lesser than the Guardians, but powerful enough to maintain order, chaos, and balance at the dimension's heart.
Lumina
Goddess of Order (Tier 4)
First creation. Renaldo kissed her to give her life's first breath. She was crafted as a lighter version of Telaria—uptight, controlling, obsessed with perfect order. She populated Apocalyptica with life and attempted to maintain Order through control. She cares only that her order is not disrupted—her people mean nothing to her.
Lyra
Goddess of Neutrality (Tier 5)
Forged from fragments Aldorian took from his own soul. She holds the scales of balance, caring not which side wins—only that equilibrium is maintained. Evil must exist for good to exist. Lyra understands this truth better than any being in existence. She is neither cruel nor kind—she simply exists to ensure that no force achieves absolute dominion.
Diaglo
God of Chaos (Tier 6)
Aldorian himself made Diaglo, tying him so hard to humanity that he would struggle to do what was necessary. Grandchild of Apocalyptica. He wants absolute free choice and loves asymmetry. He loves to disrupt Lumina's order. He discovered chaos magic when Lumina's creations died, releasing massive amounts of chaos energy that he absorbed.
The Experiment
Hypothesis: Free choice can coexist with order without descending into chaos.
Variables:
- Independent Variable: Free will granted to all beings
- Dependent Variable: Maintenance of dimensional order
- Control Group: Telaria's ordered dimensions (no free choice)
Experimental Conditions: One dimension (Apocalyptica) with hierarchical power structure. Three opposing forces (Order, Chaos, Balance) in constant tension. Guardians with power to examine even gods. No divine intervention from Creator after initial setup.
Duration: 30 Ventari Years
Success Criteria: Dimensional stability maintained despite free choice. Order achieved through choice rather than control.
